Activities for all are available at La Saladita. Number one here
is surfing as people from around the world come to surf the long, perfectly formed
lefts suitable for longboarding. There are other great
surf spots nearby and boat rentals are available to take groups out to the
various spots. Guests also enjoy boogie boarding, swimming in the calmer waters in
the bay, walking, fishing and snorkeling. Ixtapa and Zihuatanajo are
located 35 km south of La Saladita where you will find the airport, shopping,
internet and entertainment.
Enramada Jacqueline is located near the point at Playa La Saladita
and has been serving great food for 22 years. They are open from 9 am to 11 pm.
Their menu features a variety of fresh seafood. There are other restaurants
on the beach including Sotelo, Paco's, Oli's, Ilianet's and now Lourdes Bar and Grill.
Lourdes Bar and Gril is located on the point at Playa Saladita. It
offers beer, drinks, burgers, sandwiches, salads, smoothies and other goodies.
Here you will find entertainment at night with internet, DVD player with big screen,
ping pong table and darts or just relaxing in the outdoor area in front.
Surfboards are available for rent and for sale at Enramada Jacqueline
and at Lourdes Bar and Grill. There are a variety of boards available including
long, short and boogie. Rentals are 200 pesos per day or 100 pesos per half day.
Ask for Lourdes to set you up with surf gear including boards, leashes, fins, wax
and other basics.
